Big Disappointment At The Range Today

I used to have a Savage 93FV in .22 WMR that I sold about 3 months ago, (Synthetic stock, fluted barrel. Dick's Sporting Goods exclusive version) I had some feeding issues with mine too. I have a thing for only using CCI .22 ammo in my .22's due to I always had good luck with them & how consistent CCI was & accurate their ammo was. Mine would feed flawlessy with CCI Maxi-Mag 40 Grain round nose (Non hallow point version) but if I ran CCI Maxi-Mag HP's it would become picky about feeding. Mine was a heck of a shooter though, I had mine sighted in at 80 yards and was able to get 1/4" - 1/2" groups when the wind wasn't bad at the range that day.

Mine was very loose and a lot of play to it, more than the one in the video embedded on the first page of this thread.

Anyway, 4 business days gone by since I notified Savage and no reply yet. The first service request I sent them was sent in on January 16th and they took until February 20th to get back to me. I guess I am in for another long wait. I can tell you this, as it looks right now, it will also be another long wait before I buy another currently manufactured Savage Arms anything.

most lokely that is a magazine issue easily fixed. I have done that with a few of them but It is horrible what is happening. A friend of mine got a Beretta bodyguard with a bad barrel and it took them over a year to fix it.
I only had one problem once with a savage and gave it to the dealer/lgs and within one week I had it fixed.
I also hada horrible experience with remington but it was fixed in 3 moths.
The worse experience was with FN with a fnar rifle. It took 3 trips to the factory and it was never torally fixed after 1 year of issues. Took it to a local gunsmith and within 1hr it was fixed and running like a dream.
Everyone should learn from Glock. They take care of you instantly and life time warranty.
