Ummm....how do they lump hollow-point ammunition and "armor piercing" ammunition in the same subsection. These types of projectiles are polar opposites.
They write about penetrator rounds, but they do not define "body armor." Are they referring to soft vests? Ceramic? Plates? What level plates? Heck, almost all standard centerfire rifle rounds will defeat soft armor. Most hunting rounds will defeat low-level plates. So, what are they really legislating?No "armor piercing" bullets? I guess that means NJ residents are stuck with .45s seeing as they can't shoot through frying pans.
