It should also be considered that the 2022 election will never occur - IMHO, this is why the push for universal Frankencine is occurring, even among people who don't need it (children and young adults) or should never have it, those with auto-immune problems, the immuno-compromised, anyone with any cardiac or vascular problem...actually, no one should have ever taken this.

The one thing this Frankencine may actually cure is stupidity through attrition.

No. The "real" infrastructure bill (which is hardly all infrastructure) was always around $1.2T. The "additional" social spending bill is the one that was started at $3.5T+. The latter bill has been decreasing in price. Mostly, by fiscal tricks and chicanery. "Oh...we'll only authorize these social welfare programs for two years. That'll keep the 10-year price down." Sure! For the first 10 years. But, we all know that every damn handout program will be renewed forevermore and will continue to fuel the debt.
