He sucks at it. What political office has he held besides President? The bigger problem is that everyone is Washington needs to be fired. Every last person, cant trust a single one of them.

To get it done in 3 years he would have had to take far more drastic steps than he has the power to implement.

Like "disband the FBI" drastic.

I too am very disappointed that there hasn't been an endless stream of perp walks and trials, but the deep state protects itself very well, and that very deep state is the only mechanism Trump has to accomplish this. It's not like he can put together a posse with Don Jr and Eric and go bust down doors.

People who think he should have done more seriously underestimate the magnitude of what he's up against and overestimate the power he has.

From the very beginning I thought that if he can just hold the line to keep the deep state from gaining any more power on his watch he would be doing very well. Up until Covid he was doing a decent job at that.
