Binghamton - "Solidarity with Rochester" protest today?

Any of you other Broome/Southern Tier folks heard anything about this? Rumor mill has it 3 bus loads of hired goons arrived/arriving from somewhere else, staging at Binghamton HS/Walnut Ave vicinity, marching on downtown. Theoretically, to show solidarity with the whole Rochester thing that resulted in RPD's chief and command staff calling it a day.

Scanner is business as usual, thus far no mention of any anomalous behavior...

Don't know about bing, but rumors are floating about Utica. Couple days ago A UPD stomped on a black dudes head while black dude was cuffed. City of Utica was open about the incident and want the cop fired.

Got a few friends who are going to be in the area, I’m out in the country for the day. Thankfully they’re marching away from my house, but I’m concerned about the possibility of visiting suburbs, especially given the rumors of bussed in agitators.

Earlier today came back from Monticello Casino about 12:30 afternoon very heavy traffic West bound after Monticello Rt.17 which seemed stranger for this time of the year

When I grew up outside of Binghamton, W. Colesville for you locals, we used to say there were two "minority" neighborhoods in Binghamton. One was Susquehanna Street and the other was the county jail.

Of course it's all changed now. Not necessarily for the best

Ha. Nope. I work locally, and I’m over on Murray/Edwards/Crandall/Mather throughout my day. I don’t think it’s improved, though Crandall has gotten quite a facelift.

Yes, I saw it the other day when I went to get my hunting license. Thing is bad ass, might need it the way things are turning out.
