About a month ago i started another Ar build.
I decided to use a very low cost BCG (bear creek arsenal) and yes i KNOW the consquences of cheap parts (save it)...BCG $55 bucks on "sale" Primary Arms.
Build went perfect...installed the bcg...rifle past the "manual function test"... well some what ....except when i dry fired the weapon. The bolt was STUCK and i mean STUCK. It took a very considerable amount of force to pull back the charging handle in order to disengage the bolt but only after the rifle was dry fired. I tried 3 different BCGs and no problems. Obviously the issue was the bcg. I wanted so bad to take apart the bcg but doing so...i would'nt have been able to return it and get a replacement. I returned it and all is well...but my question Is....what was wrong with the bcg? Stuck and i mean stuck ONLY when dried fired. At the time i reseached it online and found no answers. AR BCG experts chip in.
