The media is now reporting that Daffy Doc is too fragile to fly to Washington DC and the Senate testimony has to be delayed for her to drive cross country to testify. This keeps smelling fishier by the hour. Her quarter million dollar go fund me page could certainly hire some drivers though. I wonder what Vietnameravet would charge for her cross country Uber over the weekend? I would pay to hear about that trip.

At this point it should be very clear to the committee that there was no actual event or crime committed by Brett. They should tell her and her lawyers tough shit and move forward with the vote and then investigate Ford and the democrats for conspiracy.

Ummm....really? That would be the first time in American jurisprudence that a defendant was compelled to provide a defense before the case against them was presented.
Also, the request to be questioned only by the senators on the committee is designed to make the Republicans look bad for daring to question a "victim of sexual assault." How dare they! Their questioning, if even a slight bit hostile, will be used in attack ads for years to come. So, the Republicans would be smart not to ask questions themselves and instead have a lawyer do the questioning on their behalf.
