Blazer Aluminum Case 38 spl

Being I found a good deal price wise on Blazer Aluminum case, $205/case, decided to give it a try and ordered it. Haven't gotten out to the range yet courtesy of our weather..... so my question to you is, has anyone used this for plinking/practice? What's your opinion?

no idea .. but i like brass so i can reload it .. steel cases rip up dies from what i hear but can be done .. not up on alum cases ..

I see a lot of guys using it in their semi-autos without any problems. You definitely won't have a problem in a revolver. I only buy brass for the same reasons as @Acer-m14 .

I've used the 180gr 40S&W with no issues.

I've used it in 9mm and .45ACP for target practice. No issues here.
If you don't collect the shell casing for reloading/ or don't reload, it's no big deal. (aluminum is not ideal for reloading.) if you reload. you want brass.

I pick up all the brass we shoot and any brass other people leave behind.
I also have a plunger magnet I bought at harbor freight for picking up the steel cases others leave behind, I take these to the recycle yard.

There are aluminum cases left behind, but I haven't picked any up. A pain in the ads for a quarter a pound from the recycler.

I did buy one box of aluminum cartrides one years ago. I don't buy much ammo any more because I reload what we use.
It cycled ok, don't remember how accurate it was.

Had a guy in our last Saratoga unrestricted class using aluminum cased ammo a had a few FTE's! He did pass but I asked him why would you use this cheap ammo in a class that you spent good money to take?
