Yup. Bluefish and porgies for now. Some fluke out east. Bass should be more active at the end of the month. Then Tautog October 11th my favorite.

Slammed some nice Blues off of Playland last night. All topwater plugging. Probably in the 8-12 lb range. haven't heard of any Alligator Blues caught yet..(15lbs. +)..

When they are running, catching blues with poppers will get your heart racing. One of the best times you can have fishing.

I enjoy them with diamond jigs hit the bottom real back up when action hot the second it hits the water BANG

Back in the 1970's, as a kid I fished the heck out of Sparkle lake in Yorktown. Caught some nice fish..swam there on the beach too. Haven't been by there in a few decades..
