Oh wow. Well in light of recent urgent news such as this “The labels would warn that access to a firearm in the home increases the risk of suicide, homicide and accidental death” it’s obviously to me how dangerous guns are. In the interest of public safety and as a common sense measure to reduce gun deaths I will immediately be calling for all law enforcement and public officials in westchester to surrender their duty weapons and go without firearms in the course of their job. I’m am sure westchester will immediately approve of such a common sense measure. Knowing how important law enforcement and public officials are, it’s just a common sense measure to ensure their safety.

That headline is totally wrong. Labels will be placed at point of purchase, and given to potential buyers.
Its already a State Law along with Trigger Locks, and information on Safe Storage.

I still remember years ago while pumping gas at a station seeing a warning sticker on the pump. It said swallowing gas was harmful. IMHO they should leave the label off. Not sure we need those around that would drink it.

Bought one of those weed burners from harbor freight a few years ago.
Had a sticker on the end that just said "caution, fire is hot".

Yea warning labels work great. I worked with a guy who cut his finger off and I was talking to the guy and I asked him what happened? He showed me where he stuck his finger so I asked him right where the warning label is with the fingers getting cut off then? He said yep.

And maybe a sign like the ones by amusement park rides, "must be smarter than this sign to enter".
