With the cops at opposite ends it put them in a dangerous crossfire situation.
The officer that got shot in the side opened up in the same direction of the other officer that was running

Looks like the truck was stolen. If you look the door handle with keyhole is gone. Guys pop those whole units out, get the cylinder and make a copy of the key then come back and take the truck. Seen it done a few times and once to my friend. Lucky we know the neighborhood and found it parked somewhere quiet before they got to strip it.
They should have kept the same posts they had. One on passenger and one on the driver. Better view and could have ended it faster.
Watching that the whole time with my heart racing.

First I blame the cops. They were too nice. The guy at the front quarter should have had his gun out on the suspect long ago. The other cop holding the guys hand should have had his taser out and teased the guy 3 times by that point.
