Of all the various "bolt action" AR builds I've seen this one looks more ergonomic than most.
Just thought it was interesting, not making a comment for or against manual action ARs.

I disagree. Even if I lived in a free state I would still have my bolt action AR15. It is fun to shoot. Kind of like how it is fun to shot a single shot rifle or shotgun, or a traditional bolt action rifle. (the fun is in cycling the action.)

Granted I prefer the upper I have over any of the other bolt action type ar designs out there. For a dedicated bolt action upper, the young manufacturing upper is the way to go.

Essentially an extended version of a side charger. Just turn off the gas and you have a non semi-auto.

Has anyone seen or used this? Contemplating it with a blocked gas system for a "bolt action". I like that it's non-reciprocating.

I think the Troy Pump Action Rifle is still the best bet if you don't want to break your cheek weld.
