How many hours have you carried one?
I guess if you want to get wise about it I've carried a lot. With it in my hand, up and down the range. Bringing it outside. Inside. EtcHow many hours have you carried one?
I agree. Rifles are a lot more fun to shootI kinda decided on type: striker fired, size: compact, and caliber: 9mm then tried as many guns that fit those categories as I could.
@Dayten I want to get a GI spec 1911 next. But to be honest I enjoy shooting rifles more and I have a list of rifles and rifle accessories I'd buy before I bought another pistol.
I'm not trying to be wise. My first carry was a 1911 of similar size and weight. You feel the size and weight on your belt after a few hours in an IWB holster. Especially when outdoors on a hike when you are drenched in sweat.I guess if you want to get wise about it I've carried a lot. With it in my hand, up and down the range. Bringing it outside. Inside. Well...Eff you!
I had to wait to pick up my Gen 4 Glock 19 a few years back while my FFL exchanged the standard capacity magazines for NY-compliant low-capacity magazines from his vendor.
BTW - I'd prefer the gen5 grip without finger notches to the one on my gen4.

I'm not a glock "fan" I got it because I like how it felt and how the gen 4s I've fired shot. I also cost less than a VP9 orAt least its a Glock

P320 and comes with 3 mags. It also has a pedigree of reliability the CZ doesn't.
I really thought about it, had a slight giggle about leading people on to see how far I could take it.

Range shooting and everyday carry are two entirely different things.

I figure at some point I'll buy a dedicated CC pistol, probably something single stack with a capacity less than 10 rounds. I don't like bulky or loose clothes and now living in a much warmer environment I can't rely on a coat or jacket to smooth over printing with for 7-8 months of the year.
I'm not new and make sure I do not print at all for a number of reasons. One, I don't want anyone to know my business. Two, I may frequent places that frown on carrying.Lol printing,
New to carrying yes?

I know that. I was once in a rainstorm in Disney before they had metal detectors and my 1911 was printing like mad under my t-shirt after it was soaked. No one noticed.95% of people (made up statistic) don't pay attention and wouldn't even notice a "print" let alone think gun,
I walked around walmart one day Glock 17 completely out in my hip for all to see (here in NY) no one even gave me a second look
Exactly.I just don't like to print. If I do carry, I do it properly. No one will ever know. Even a professional. I'm often times in tight spaces like movie theater lines and I don't need anyone behind me to see it in the off chance and get any ideas. My tactical advantage would be lost if things go south.
