Anyone doing any bow fishing? Buying some new line tomorrow, then setup a bow fishing unit to take out coming week. Had to lock down arrow rest, arrow to heavy.

Loved bowfishing....Had a connection with a local Chinese Food restaurant years ago. I'd bring them a few fresh shot carp and they'd gladly trade me for food. Ahhh, miss the good old days....

Been some years since i've gotten out. Would love to do it more, never tried night time but looks fun. I use to hit the Hudson and Wallkill. This is one from about 6 years ago on the Wallkill.

Use to do it as a kid. We never kept them. We would hang them off the dock for the turtles to eat

There used to be big tournaments for bow fishing carp. Pet food companies would come in and collect all the carp that were shot

Actually they say if they come out of clean water they are not bad. Smoked I hear helps.
