Was supposed to be delivered by "end of day" (which usually means 8:00). Decided.i wanted to choose one of my bolt guns and start making some accuracy upgrades.

Had this Savage Model 12 in .223 that I've had for prob over 10 years. Always been a pretty tight shooter but not as tight as I wanted. The stock stock had to go. Read up a little about consistant and proper positioning as one variable. For the money (as I'm sure there's better & pricier options) I decided on this.

Fitment was spot on. I need one longer bolt for the front of the action but beyond that, it dropped right into place. Opted for the camo accents vs the standard black. Haven't shot it yet but feels much better already. Hope to head to the range later today.

I tried to buy one of those stocks for my 10/22. Evidently is is way too dangerous to put one of those on a 22 in this state.

Because yours is a bolt gun and legal to have that stock. The 10/22 is semiauto and VERY dangerous with an adjustable comb.

You're right. 10/22's are actually weapons of war. Dont want that now.

yep that adjustable comb is one of the things that flips up .. no go in FUAC land .. LOL

i have a older Savage in 223 also and man i like that At-one stock .. shes a shooter as is .. done some mods to the stock and trigger ( Stevens trigger )
now it has a light for yote hunting , the butt is filled with bondo and the forearm is fill with lead shot and epoxy to bring some of the balance back.
nothing touching the barrel so its still free floating .. @Carlos Hathcock also have a Savage 270 win .. i would need 2 at-one's lol
