Boyd's AT-ONE rifle stock

Anyone here purchase one of these stocks? Seems to be a great value, hardwood (hard maple) laminate, your choice of color(s), push-button LOP and comb height adjustment, 1/2" rubber recoil pad, all for $189 plus S&H. Extra-cost interchangeable (Target) pistol grip and fore-end available too, plus lots of other neat accessories.

I been eyeballing one for sometime, for a quality aftermarket stock for my Rem 700 ADL .243 Win

I did a little research on them a while ago. Everyone pretty much likes them for the price, only main criticism I saw was that occasionally they required fitting with sandpaper by the customer to sit correctly.

Yes I saw those reviews as well. Seems to be an excellent value, minor fitting may be required. My biggest concern is the recoil lug recess, my recoil lug is slightly tilted off center. Plus, I've seen where the original stocks screws aren't long enough when stock is installed.

Not sure about the recoil lug thing. I'm sure you could successfully fit it yourself though. The screw thing maybe happens with certain actions? Idk.

The text of the law says "folding or telescoping stock". Personally I would say it doesn't adjust by telescoping so it should be fine. But who knows.

For those of you that have them, how much have they or how have they improved your shooting experience/results with your current rifle over the factory stock? I have a Savage that I really can't afford to turn into a chassis gun, as much as I want to, and as much as I want to convert to AICS mags, I just can't do $400 for an MDT right now. How much do these Boyd's stocks firm up the shooting? Groups tighter? I've looked at all these stocks and can't decide.

from all the reviews i have read .. they make great stuff .. some fitting required and bed it to get the most from it ..
i just wish the at one had a thumb hole too ..
