Sounds like someone was carrying a Glock or similar gun out of a holster. Oops.
Discharges a stolen, illegal gun. He'll be out in 6 months to a year if he does any time. Probably be sentenced to time already served by the time it goes to court. Meanwhile, they will work on safe storage laws and I'll end up with a years sentence for not having mine in a safe and allowing somebody to steal it.UPDATE:
The gun was not registered to Ciccarelli and was allegedly stolen from an unspecified location in Niagara Falls, according to a news release from the Erie County District Attorney's Office.
Ciccarelli is scheduled to return on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. for a felony hearing. Justice Stevens set bail at $1,500 cash or $5,000 bond.
If convicted on the charge, Ciccarelli faces a maximum of 7 years in prison.
You mean a gun that goes bang when it's trigger is pulled? Yea I hate those kinds.Sounds like someone was carrying a Glock or similar gun out of a holster. Oops.
Don't know about now but years ago you could apply for and receive a NYSPP at age 18 of course you couldn't buy a hand gun until 21 BUT you could be gifted one! A friend of mine got his permit shortly after high school.Well it must be that he is Leo or an honorably discharges veteran. We all know that since nys requires a pistol permit to be able to even touch a pistol, much less own one; it therefore makes it impossible for anyone to be able to acquire one without said permit. Otherwise this would simply yet again point out how a asinine the whole nys pistol permit is.
Undocumented gun?The gun was defaced. Unlawful gun.
True. I got mine shortly before my 19th birthday. First pistol was a S&W 60. Bought at Dick's on Court Street in Binghamton.Don't know about now but years ago you could apply for and receive a NYSPP at age 18 of course you couldn't buy a hand gun until 21 BUT you could be gifted one! Criminals overwhelmingly use FMJ ammo because they don’t know any better or because it’s cheaper. That’s why the injury wasn’t more severe. The first clue to me was they tried to take off instead of staying and calling 911. He wasn’t about to drive her to the ER. He was thinking he could patch her up and get away with it. When the blood loss got to be too much he finally did the right thing and called for help.1. Could've shot her in the hoo ha.
2. I'm curious of the reaction of the other patrons.
3. Wasnt a .45 or she"d be peg leggin it the rest of her life.
4. If they stay together it'll be a great story at the wedding. "How did you know he was the one for you?" "He was such a gentleman and took me straight me to the emergency room after dinner and didn't try to make a move on me."
I never carry a gun without a round in the chamber. The handgun was a stolen Ruger LCP 9mm .
Perp had a round in the chamber. Probably not a good idea. He must have watched too many YouTube videos.

Hard trigger pull? He was on a date with a hard on and his mind preoccupied with booty. Probably thought he was stroking his pecker when it went off prematurely. Don't jerk your trigger.Wow, I wonder what trigger mods he made to it so that it would go off so easily.
My LC9's trigger is HEAVY. Too heavy for my wife to safely use, and far too heavy to just go off if I brush against it in a pocket (though I don't carry that way).
You're talking about someone with probably no firearms knowledge who was probably carrying it because he thought it was "cool". He probably doesn't know his ass from last Tuesday. Play around with the trigger. What could possibly go wrong? I wonder what they had for dinner?Wow, I wonder what trigger mods he made to it so that it would go off so easily.

Does he have a past record? Your assumption is probably correct, he obviously broke the unconstitutional law that requires a permit and restricts a legal adults right to keep and bear arms, and he is a moron for likely not having it in a holster? But it SHOULDNT be a crime for him to be armed in public. What makes you think so? He was charged for having the gun. He's nothing more than a street criminal who doesn't know how to handle a firearm.
