Well Glocks really are perfection though...I wonder if this will turn into another Glock vs everyone else thread. I want one!
Not so. A .45 ACP is a terrible performer against hard barriers. For nys of course a .45 would be better because your not sacrificing capacity.
Now that's settled let's talk about how this chambered in the inferior cartridge 9mm.Well Glocks really are perfection though...

Me too. I love that gun especially for the price I paid $0.00. My dad gave it to me. I will have it recoAted at some point since the bluing rubs off easy. I love to put a nice set of wood grips on it, but they are nearly impossible to find and very difficult to make.I like Para Ord for double stacked 1911s.
I've got one of the older Para P10-45 compact 10+1 1911s. It's a thick, snappy, little bugger. It's not much fun at the range. But, in a hallway at home defense ranges, it's a great size for that kind of punch.I like Para Ord for double stacked 1911s.
Mines is nearly the same gun except black. My handle is longer since mines the p12, but neutered. I'm thinking of having it recoAted black frame and slide then the other parts silver. My brother in law has a mill and I thought about trying to milk a piece of aluminum to make some grips. Mine shoots great. I actually love it. I shot my father in law full sized 45 colt and the shorty is snappier for sure. I'm used to shooting my kimber solo and only short barreled guns so I did not think it was that bad. I find follow up shots and rapid shoooting fairly easy. I think I'll break it out and shoot it when I go to camp next time.I've got one of the older Para P10-45 compact 10+1 1911s. Maybe we converted you back.I'm no longer a 1911 fan but that thing looks sweet.
Not a chance. I don't miss the hammer pinching my belly fat.Maybe we converted you back.
I built a Para with a Colt 1991 3 1/2 slide on a P13 frame. fun thing to go to the range with. Very controllable with the full sized grip, but snappy with the short slide and barrel combo.I've got one of the older Para P10-45 compact 10+1 1911s. It's a thick, snappy, little bugger.
