Because the thug life has been glorified by mtv and the crap music they all are listening to. To them it is the only way to make money. Then the Commucrats come in and fill their minds with victimology and they don't even put forth a modicum of effort to get out of the hood, because the Commucrats have them believing that the man will keep them from going anywhere. Thats why conservative blacks are hated, because they are viewed as charlatans propped up by racist white puppet masters. LBJ said he would have the blacks (NOT HIS WORD) voting Commucrat for 50 years, and by god he was spot on.

Police should start airing non lethal body cam footage to expose the miscreants and douche bags they deal with on a daily basis. Unfortunately COPS and other police reality shows were cancelled because they showed too much truth.

I'm all for allowing the father right of first refusal of putting the fucker down once officially found guilty.
I would love to find the YouTube video that made a very similar point but I don't remember who it was.
Anyway,. His theory was that the 90s show Fresh Prince of bel air did incalculable damage to the black family and culture.
His theory went that the very successful, cohesive and prestigious black family in bel air that anyone would strive to have their achievements and stability was undermined by the likable punk will smith. His character normalized deliquency, laziness, borderline thug/gang activity and rap culture. He was seen as the hero, the most popular character, saving the boring successful black family from themselves.
It became not cool to be successful. Instead partying, being a goofball, hanging out with borderline undesirable friends became celebrated.
That was such a successful and long running show that it was a defining show for a generation that every kid that was growing up in the 90s was influenced by it. Those 80s and 90s kids are adults now. Their attitudes and behaviors were molded in some way shape or form by will smiths character.
After I heard that, I thought it over and it made a lot of sense. I will never think of that show in the same way again.
