Budget bill hunting provisions removed

Budget bill A-3008C/S-2508C has been amended and resubmitted to Assembly Ways & Means and Senate Finance.

The bill originally contained provisions lowering the age for a hunting license and permitting hunting with a crossbow. These appear to have been removed.

Not sure why "regulations" or "laws" are included in budget bills anyway.

They should be stand alone legislation and pass or fail on their own merits

They're not allowed to do that. I believe these could be included under the auspices of generating revenue.
