I used to own a ton of camping gear, but over the years and a few moves, the stuff just seemed to disappear. Back in 1999 my daughter took the last tent that I owned to the Woodstock Revival concert in Rome NY and the tent went up in flames along with a bunch of other gear. I now have an 8 year old granddaughter who is showing an interest in the outdoors (camping, hunting, survival) so I decided to take her camping. We put together a survival pack for her already. Today the tent and sleeping bags got delivered. Little by little I am rebuilding my camping kit. I bought 4 Snugpak Basecamp Ops Nautilus 28 degree bags @ $34.95 each and one 6 man Boulder Creek dome tent at $55.67. Not too much of an investment so far. Now I have to get sleeping pads of some sort. I still have a 2 burner Coleman stove along with a lot of survival gear.
