Buffalo Police Captain Jeff Rinaldo said a gun was found that looked exactly like a Glock 9 millimeter, but turned out to be a BB gun.

i took a 12ga shot gun on the bus to school once to make a new stock for it in wood shop class and i was about the same age .. nothing happened ..
made a new stock with the shop teachers help .. and rode the bus back home with it ..
mid 70 's ..
FIFYI am glad the Police were able to get involved and take control of the incident, before anything escalated.
Most positively the case. Dumb kids being dumb.Maybe it was an innocent situation this kid got in

So, maybe instead of doing more of the same and things getting worse, we should go back to doing things the way we did before the problem started ?What year was that and how many schools shootings were going on?
In that year, how many children were killed?
Wow, thats crazy to me, lol. I must be a bit younger than you, as i was born in the mid 70s, but the thought of bringing a shotgun to school, to work on at wood shop class, is wild to me. Dont get me wrong, i think its great, and i truly wish we still lived in a world where that was the norm.
Its like when i hear older friends tell me they used to smoke cigarettes on airplanes, or in Mcdonalds. The best was a buddy told me he remembers smoking in the hospital years ago, lmao. I am for sure the youngest out of all my friends. The most i remember is there used to be a smoking section in some restaurants, def no shotguns in school though.
I just retired in May, was working the last few year at a high school that had a 6 lane shooting range in the basement I think it was the mid 80's when they did away with the shooti g team.
Since when can police not conduct an investigation into a deadly weapon in a school?"Buffalo Police officers noted it is illegal for anyone under 16 years old to have a BB gun."
Curious what if he was in fact 16?
In the interview they said every student was searched? When does a report allow for physically searching every kid in a school only to find the gun stashed behind a filing cabinet.
The problem is propaganda. It has been around for decades, and decades. So, maybe instead of doing more of the same and things getting worse, we should go back to doing things the way we did before the problem started ?
It's been around a lot longer than that. Probably longer than writing. The problem is propaganda. It has been around for decades, and decades.
They can investigate all they want.Since when can police not conduct an investigation into a deadly weapon in a school?
*Police show up: "anyone have a gun?"
*Gunman: "nope, no guns here"
*Police: "oh ok, have a good day"
No laws broken. Legal search. You not liking it does not mean it’s unlawful. They can investigate all they want.
But only using constitutionally acceptable techniques.
"I can't do my job if I can't just search everyone willy nilly".
Then I guess your job doesn't get done until someone figures out how.
You guys seem to have forgotten something that every other profession has to deal with. If you can't do your job without breaking the law, then you just don't do the job.
Unreasonable search is unreasonable. No laws broken. Legal search. You not liking it does not mean it’s unlawful.
Thanks for your opinion.Unreasonable search is unreasonable.
They also can't just search everyone in town because *someone* has the gun. Please search SCOTUS rulings on police investigations and searches. All warranted. The cops aren’t going to take the gunmans word for it that he doesn’t have a gun and just go get an ice cream cone. Good grief.
Right. And they didn’t.They also can't just search everyone in town because *someone* has the gun.

The looks I was getting from some of the parents didn’t help much either.
How many kids did they search ?Right. And they didn’t.
Moving along…..
