Built an in line timer for brass tumbler.

Zero to 6 hour timer, $15, everything else from my shop junkyard. Throw in a load of brass and go to work.

My RCBS sidewinder has timer built in. You set it for 12 hours, it runs 10 hours. I have a bunch of timers from my aquarium keeping days, but there is no need for exact time for tumbling, even when I Moly-coat.

Rotating tumblers take more time to clean. I set it for a full dial 12hrs (10hrs actual time). I never had good luck with vibratory tumblers. They all burned out, some in only few month, some in few years. I had 4-5 of them. Dillon lasted the longest. Offset weight on the motor shaft kills the bearings and then the motor. It's a simple, but very flawed design.
I bought RCBS sidewinder in 2006 and it is still running. It was way too expensive, but it lasts.

I have an ancient Midway vibrator that has been used for almost 15 years. I've only loaded it 2/3 max brass load. This past week I think I polished about 6000 rounds of .45 and 9mm. I change media about once a year and add polish about every 10 batches. Must be the dryer sheets I use. This is my original vibratory cleaner.

I've got a Frankford Arsenal tumbler that's about 10 years old. I had to replace the bowl after I tried using ceramic media in it - too heavy I guess. That was a couple of years ago and its still going strong.

Good idea. My wet tumblers timer suddenly stopped working so I'll have to look into one of these.
