The M16 and it's variants have been around for 60 years and dropped many millions of thin skinned game with 55 grain ball ammo.
Ball ammo is cheap, accurate and it works.

"Killing" is making a hole for Blood to escape from a sealed system...Ball Ammo has done it since the the gun was invented...."Hunting" ammunition just digs a nastier, larger hole to make 'em bleed out quicker.
