I believe this level is effective for pistol rounds and not rifle?

Correct. It’s soft armor, and rated to a 44 mag. I’m pretty sure it does allow for adding additional rifle rated plates to bring it up to lvl 4.

It seems to be a decent price for all had in the deal. All the reviews were good and had good things to say about quality.
A good vest to depend on in an urban environment, where hand guns are more to be encountered.
Rural, not so much. I did not see country of origin. Are these made here?
