I read that a place called Mancave Firearms (near Fulton I think) is considering closing after two break-ins.
I also see that Utica Firearms is closing up shop for reasons unknown to me. But he is having a clearance sale all this week. I hate to see him go. He's always had a nice turnover of used old Remington and jm stamped Marlins.

Last year we lost Bob Cateldo's gun shop in Lyons Falls. I bought a few from him over the years . I'd intentionally take the backroads to camp to pay him a visit. He truly worked till he died in his 90's I think.

I loved Cataldo's. Oddest place..you walk in and there were appliances and shit all over. Bought a lot of old WW2 bolt guns from him.

If the state doesn't revoke their semi-auto purchase permits after this one, I'm gonna be pissed.
It just shows that if we had a manditory 3 day waiting period, those thugs would have been stuck waiting in the store and the cops would have been able to grab them. COMMON SENSE GUN LAWS NOW!!!!

The state is messing with people’s livelihood. I wish the places that have decided to close or are considering it would reconsider. This is exactly what they hope for and it needs to be met with resistance and resilience. If the FFL’s don’t make a stand and refuse to shutter their businesses because of this garbage how do we even stand a chance to fight it ?

I heard about the break-in at Tim's a couple of days ago, x-wife told me about it. I bought a house in late May about 2 miles east of Tim's and wasn't aware Tim's or any gun shop was that close by. Sux because last week I went to Runnings and bought a bunch of 380. Had I known about Tim's I would have bought there instead, give the business to someone local. I wish him well and hope he keeps the doors open.
