I believe they have creams/gels that pull the residual heat out of flesh in a safer more effective manner than using cold water.

i was burned and in ICU .. i had jar of that to use on my burns when i got out ..


when i got released from the burn unit ,.,. at home i also used pure dish soap too on my burns ..

like they use on birds from a oil spills ..

to clean and then apply the cream and medicated wraps ...
