No. In free America, you walk into a store, choose what you want to buy, walk to cashier and give them your payment of choice and walk out. No need for any of that nonsense.

Living dead center in cny, traveling for ammo is not practical. I think my shortage distance from the state border would be a Canadian meeting me in the center of Lake Ontario. I very seldom travel out of state anyways so its order online and have it shipped to my brothers house in Virginia then wait for my mother to be the ammo mule.

I will be buying ammo when I need it and when I travel. I’m heading to another state for work soon and I might buy some when I fly. I bought some in Texas when I traveled there recently and it was easy. I even told them I need a full background check like buying a gun in NYS and they just laughed. The guy at the counter told me I heard NY is a beautiful state but I won’t travel there because of crap like that. He made me laugh more than a few times.
