It sure is a money grab and they will do background checks because those sex workers don’t pay taxes. The background checks are to dig into tax records.

Also I’m sure porn is protected under the first amendment but many jobs require background checks, licenses, or government oversight so I do t see that being thrown out under the first.
I’m not saying I’m for government oversight but I dont see this getting thrown out under that premise. Especially because they license our gun rights.

So, if the background check comes back showing you're a sex offender, can you still work in porn? Sounds like a government provided certification of excellence to me.
