California Republican Wants Warning Labels on Guns
California State Assemblywoman Catherine Baker (R-Dublin) is pushing legislation to require that warning labels accompany all firearms sold in the state.
Baker’s bill, AB 1525, would also raise the passing grade “for the issuance of a firearm safety certificate” from 75% to 85%.


text of Baker’s bill says that firearms packaging and “any descriptive materials” that accompany firearms sold in California shall contain the following warning:

These are the same idiots that have warning labels on cleaning fluids and bleach that say, "Do not drink." No kidding...morons!

Would adding the warning label be considered a modification to the gun such that they all have to go through California's safety testing again before they can be sold? And of course, microstamping is required so none will pass. So no new guns in CA?

A few years ago while pumping gas, I saw that it could be harmful if I swallowed said gasoline. That little sticker saved me from a great deal of pain and suffering because I happened to be a tad bit parched as I was pumping.

How about this: WARNING! - Standing on the receiving end of this firearm could be detrimental to your health.
