Calling NYC area shooters. Need dream gun help

Hello all, got bitten by the shooting bug again after an extended hiatus. Ive been thinking about slimming down my collection, selling off a few handguns to buy one or two really nice pieces. Problem is living in this commie state ive never handled most of these. Is there anyone local that has any of the following (or another model that should be on this list but isnt) that is willing to possibly meetup at the range and do some shooting? Ill obv pay for ammo and range time and will bring my toys as well. Plopping down thousands of dollars without ever having even touched the gun seems unreasonable to me.

So far my list is:

- CZ TS2 orange
- CZ A01-SD
- CZ shadow 2 compact
- Dan Wesson DWX or compact
- Wilson combat supergrade
- Nighthawk Bob Marvel
- TTI Sand viper / Pit Viper
- Atlas athena
- Staccato XC

You should find A range that let's you rent pistols. Over here is Westchester, Artemis let's you rent all types of pistols, AR's, etc., to shoot at their range. Far from Crooklyn, but you get the idea.

Ill make the drive upstate for that. I have never been to a range that rents high pistols

Just called them. Only high end pistol they rent is the Nighthawk. But it is a good idea. I'll call a few more ranges. Any ideas for ranges in tri-state area that might have lots of high end pistols to choose for. ?

You should call them back and ask if you can shoot some examples they have in the showroom, that you are considering to buy. They might have some set aside for that. They are very big on Sig Sauer and carry other lines as well. This is also a great place out on the Island / closer for you.

Sweet shottie! Can't have that in nyc. That pistol grip makes it really deadly

Same. With the exception of my p365 which of course is everywhere, all my purchases were b4 ever shooting them. But I can't drop 5k on a gun I haven't shot, they are notoriously hard to move used
