Due to ('ah-hem' - covid restrictions) - AND a lack of available firearms at the shops, - instead of awarding firearms prizes every day for the month, - one winner EACH day of the month will receive $ 500.00 - either in a pre-paid gift card, for any store of your choice - or cash / check awarded to the winner. ONE special winner during the month, - on a date to be determined will receive a prize of $ 1,000.00 . This 'Grand Prize' in June was always on Father's Day - we will pick another day as we go forward here. For those not familiar with our raffle - 1000 tickets are sold, at $ 25.00 each - numbered 000 to 999, - winning numbers are picked by NYS Lottery daily EVENING numbers pick. The 3 digit daily number. Will update here as things get finalized. Be well, shoot when you can, buy ammo when you find it - may all your shots be in the X-ring. God bless America! None of that has stopped you guys from rapid fire on the range. My camp is a couple of miles away, Pondhill, and the terrain funnels the firearm reports right to me. Some of you start early in the AM.

Shooting can’t be much before 9:00.

Are the rifle shooting benches in the Moran Post Rd right of way?

The benches at the rifle range are close to the road. Only a 20 foot carry from car to bench. Us old retired gators like the convenience. Outdoor ranges are not supposed to be used before 9:00 a.m. -- As for the 'rapid fire' - most guys I know don't have enough ammo to do that right now.
The shooting you hear? - Try to think of it as 'the sound of freedom'!

Tickets aren't out yet, Glenn. Not sure yet exactly when the raffle will be, either Sept. or Nov. -- Don't worry, I'll make sure you hear about them when they're finally out. -- You've been kind of scarce around here lately - good to see you're back.

After several false starts, and postponements, looks like raffle tickets should be out in a week or two. Chain of supply - (no guns) - etc. has led to a year without a raffle. Raffle committee is working on tickets now, - and I really don't know what is going to be offered yet. Hopefully, will have some info within a week or two.
