We upgraded a year or two ago. I think ours sleep 8. We used to go to Selkirk shore a lot. This was when swimming was banned. We would be in a loop with maybe 1 or 2 other campers. I loved it. Then swimming was opened back up and now it’s packed...... We are going back this year cause KOA thousand island is just getting to expensive.

my gramps built the first camp in1959.. that burnt in the mid 70's, then we rebuilt in the early 80's.. cost my dad $4000 and a summer of weekends to frame this place back then..
one sister hates black flies, the other is sorta fubar so it's all mine now..

I grew up over on Bayshore. Chances are, if you have any Noyes in you, were related, lol. We should put together an Oswego county meet up for this summer.

I'm a cancer surviver and I used to do a lot of camping. I want to do some backpacking before I drop dead (I'm 65 years old) so I started putting a pack together, but it is not large enough for all the stuff I want to take with me. I'm looking to buy a Wisport Reindeer 55L pack or something similar. I also have a Eureka US Marine 2 man combat tent that my son brought back from Iraq. It has some shrapnel holes in it (long story) that I patched, but I'm not sure if I should use it for backpacking. It's a little heavy. Anyway my plan is to get out there in the woods very soon. For at least a few days at a time to see how I fair.
I have a Teton 75L, just got it. I replaced a no-name 55L that actually lasted 12 years!

I am about to list and sell most of my camping gear online. All is in good condition. I have a Gregory Shasta (used only 3-4 times), one man tent, water purifier, stove, pots, bed mat etc ....... Not sure where you are located, but if you are interested i would make you a super deal.
Thanks for the offer, but I have everything I need already. In fact I have too much stuff. I actually built two packs. One for me and one for my grand daughter who is interested in bushcraft and camping. She also keeps bugging me to take her turkey hunting. She claims she does better turkey calls then I do. lol

They only way to go camping if you’re really looking for solitude most of the campgrounds are to busy now that camping is cool. I haven’t been out for a few years but my wife and I are TT about getting back into it. Used to go a lot up around the West Branch Neversink and a few places in the Dacks but it’s been a while
