Can a county add restrictions to an unrestricted permit when you transfer to that county?

I originally applied for my pistol permit in Albany county, I was granted a restricted permit and denied an unrestricted permit. I then moved to Saratoga County where I applied and was granted an unrestricted permit. I now have to move back to Albany county and am worried they will add restrictions to my permit when I transfer my permit. Is this something that actually happens or am I needlessly worrying?

Your unrestricted county should be able to do a simple address change for you. You'll just have to travel back when adding or removing a pistol.

Please advise as to what section of the penal code of the state of NY indicate these so called "restrictions"... Either you are licensed to carry, or you're not. Those "administrative" instructions placed on a Conceal Carry License are nothing... Garbage! Might as well out an Amazon Advert on it too...

I agree the restrictions are bs but i also think they should be avoided at all costs. If you can avoid pushing the envelope on your old permit with an updated address that would be ideal. Instead of saying, "I'm moving," say, "I'd like to change my address."

Correct. May be a problem if it becomes one and pisses off the issuing judge.
