Can States Ban Gun Shows

Pretty easy task to ban gun shows. The state, county, or town, doesn't give you a permit for the show, its pretty much a "no" show.

The next one is trying to get an insurance company who is willing to write the policy for it.

They can ban them by county and that's all. There used to be a good one in Westchester County several years ago but then they went woke, pissing off everyone in the area.

Can they BAN demonstrations? Rally's where "Speech" is protected?

If not...

Then NO, they cannot create a separate and distinct restriction on 2A Right exercises, and a "Show" would just as easily be associated with "Speech"...

My take, and I'll stick with it!

Bruen established that two tiered hurdles put in place to exercise 2A rights are an INFRINGEMENT of those same hurdles are not acceptable for other Rights!

Not sure why this portion of the ruling is being ignored...

I'm going to go with the can't "ban" Gun Shows, but they can make it a pain in the Balls...NY has TWO Gun Shows held on State Property that I know of, and there may be others held out on Long Island.
The Syracuse Gun Show is and has been held for decades in the Center of Progress Building on the New York State Fair Grounds, and the Albany Show is held in the Empire Plaza, and will be again in January, 2025

Those so called "loopholes" are only labeled that because those State Laws do not resonate with another State Law (anti-2A), so they'll use those inflammatory labels...

Problem they never seem to talk about is those States, now the majority of States, don't seem to have those dreamed up OK Corral problems they weep about in court.
