The gist is that some Canadian tribal leaders got together with some government scum and claimed that young indigenous people were buried in mass graves at government boarding schools run by the catholic church, and that these mass graves were supposedly mass murders.

Turns out tho whole thing was a lie. A damned lie. Tons of money, time, and resources wasted, while 85 churches were burned down or vandalized (most were catholic churches, but not all of them were... and those that weren't had nothing to do with the situation at all...).
IMO, its likely this little plot got hatched by riding on the coattails of the (real and terrible) pedo priest scandal that the catholic "church" criminally covered up for decades.
Just another instance that proves the maxim: Government that is too powerful and unaccountable is far more dangerous than any given criminal walking the streets.
How many Canadian government scum who pushed this CONSPIRACY THEORY, along with the willing "tribal leaders" who facilitated and participated in this blatant lie and crime, are going to be doing hard time in prison for the arsons and other crimes that exploded because of their actions?
