This is more than likely who is at the top of the pecking order to become the next Prime Minister (or Governor) of Canada
Pierre Poilievre became internationally known after he released this video in 2022, announcing he is running for Prime Minister, while 1984 sat on his bookshelf in the background.
He spoke directly to all Canadians, telling them Canada was falling into Tyranny.
He offered Canadians an alternative vision, where Canadians were back in charge of their lives, back in charge of government. A Smaller government.

For the last twenty one years I have spent three to four months every Summer and Fall on Canadian soil. Their Govt. in recent years has paralleled what we have been experiencing in our own Country. All "woke" DEI etc, etc.
I am not sure that Trudeau resigning will have a huge effect. Remember, he is staying at the helm until another Liberal takes his place. Also, having numerous friends and acquaintances in Canada, IMO the people there are born into and grow up in a Socialist apparatus. This is what they are familiar with and they basically accept it. They just keep trucking along with outrageous fuel, grocery and building supply prices. And I can tell you that their allegedly free health care SUCKS BIG TIME!!!
Maybe if Poilievre can force an election and gets voted in the folks north of the border will get a sniff of something different and will like what they smell. I am not optimistic for them.
