RCMP begins removing protesters, vehicles at Coutts border crossing | secondary blockades set up​

RCMP began removing a massive blockade of vehicles — many of them semi trucks and trailers — near the Canada-U.S. border crossing at Coutts, Alta. on Tuesday, however some protesters refused to leave and secondary blockades were set up further to the north.

Over the years I've learned usually from one or two interactions with them, who those people are. Then the gut feeling kicks in and I'm usually 90% right. Enough to bet money on it...

Ironically, this was a test of that skill, and surprise, surprise... that's where I got the 90% number from. Predictable, just like reading ahead a chapter or two in a book. Don't take much sometimes on certain people.

If anything, this pandemic shows who I can versus who I cannot trust -- especially if a SHTF scenario occurs. In a nutshell, I know who the backstabbers and leaches are going to be. Sad, but true.

While I agree with the concept behind his message its just not valid. Any wrecker driver worth his salt is going to have caging bolts on his rig. They dont need "thousands" of them just 10 (or so). Put the bolts in releasing the brakes, tow, remove the bolts when they are done, go onto the next one. Its a slowdown for sure but its not going to stop anyone. Two guys can cage a rig in probably 5 mins.
A better strategy IMO would be to park as fucked up as possible. No straight shots, jackknife the truck into the trailer and Tetris the next truck into yours. If they have a hard time hooking up they wont be able to tow easily.

Hey, I was weaned on Busch Beer. On some mornings, I could smell the Busch Brewery in St louis from my house. Learned to love that smell. I know that Busch Beer is made from rice. Kinda sweet. and I'm 70 years old and now I find out I have been drinking GMO beer for better than 50 years. I hope it doesn't interact with the vaccine!

Did a 2 year post-doc at St. Louis University in the early 1980s - was located in the Doisy Research Center on S. Grand Blvd, just across the street from Cardinal Glennon.

Weirdly, the son of the guy who the Doisy Center was named after (Edward A. Doisy - Nobel for discovery of vitamin K) was a biochemistry prof where I got my degree.

The smell was OK, but have never liked their beer.
