In a rather jaw-dropping development, the crowdfunding organization is taking the position that Canadian officials have labeled the Canadian Freedom Convoy protest as an “illegal occupation” of the city of Ottawa. As a result, GoFundMe will not release the funds to the organizers of the protest, and will, instead, only transfer those funds to an authorized and credible charitable organization like “Black Lives Matter”.
All donors may submit a request for a full refund until February 19th, 2022 using this dedicated refund form. (LINK)

Update on GoFund Mes response (1:57 a.m. Central):
We are automatically refunding your Freedom Convoy 2022 donation.
GoFundMe supports peaceful protests and we believe that was the intention of the Freedom Convoy 2022 fundraiser when it was first created. However, as a result of multiple discussions with local law enforcement and police reports of violence and other unlawful activity, the Freedom Convoy fundraiser has been removed from the GoFundMe platform.
The update we issued earlier enabled all donors to get a refund and outlined a plan to distribute remaining funds to verified charities selected by the Freedom Convoy organizers.
However, due to donor feedback, we are simplifying the process for you. We will automatically refund your contributions directly – you do not need to submit a request. You can expect to see your refund within 7-10 business days.”

The reason GFM is “directly” refunding? If donors complained via their banks, the banks would have to get involved, likely bringing charge of fraudulent solicitation down on GFM. The California bastards who run GFM cannot have that.
Go Fund Me was acquired by Crowd Rise in 2017.

Canadian truckers surprised by the outpour of support
Ottawa, Ontario – Canadian truckers in the "Freedom Convoy" said they were amazed at the outpouring of support from their fellow citizens.
"There's people knocking on my door every five minutes wanting to give," Travis, a trucker from New Brunswick, told Fox News. "There has been nothing but caring, sharing and giving."
Andrew, another trucker, told Fox News: "I got guys that come up to my door and offer me cash donations. I refuse. I don't want cash. I'm not doing this to make money. I'm doing this for the choice, for everybody's choice, for freedoms."
Two college students, Nathan Savoy and Dylan Gordon, set up folding tables and water boilers on the first day of the convoy to hand out coffee and tea outside the Canadian Parliament building. They were still providing food, drinks, clothes and other goods nearly a week later.
"We've had people filling up backpacks who need it and keeping people fueled up and fighting for freedom," he continued. "We're going to be out here as long as it takes."
"Honestly, it feels like it's coming out of nowhere," Gordon said. "Every morning, when we've been showing up the last five days, there's been more and more food just showing up at our table, even when there's no one even behind it."
A woman with a toddler, Laura, said she has been shuttling the truckers to and from their hotels.
"I've been bringing about one to four guys back and forth, bringing them there in the night to catch up sleep, shower, bring them back for the day," she said.
