You also don't need a 400 horse power car to go to the store. Children are killed every year in car accidents resulting from "speed" I don't hear any news about banning high HP cars . Or buying them back.

Alberta should secede and become part of Texas or Florida (maybe with fly over USA and the Southeast joining them.)

If "refusing to comply" is the same as "rising up" then New York must be the new United States.
After all, our compliance rate is probably the only thing to be proud of in this asshole-run place.

Then again, "rising up" should not be used unless politicians are fleeing for their hidden bunkers and hoping their guards aren't in on it.

Look - me and Sarah Palin can see Canada from our rooftop. Canadians are great folks. I mean hell, they love hockey and vinegar on french fries. Good on them for at least fighting back. I've tried a few times to escape to Canada but that damn line on the Peace Bridge is 2 hours plus. Besides, when the border agents ask if I'm carrying weapons my wife looks like she just " swallowed the canary ". I have to turn back every time...

I remember when Americans could freely cross the border. Into Canada and back. In fact, the last time I did so was back in 92 or 93.
My, how times have changed.

NOt to get into it but I was "deported" from canada once in the '90's and "put on a list".....

Quickly....loved the VW shows....took merchandise to be a vendor.....small item dollar stuff..and got sent back saying I was taking canadian jobs away......Just a small vendor and car show...my god.... God their hockey sticks in a REAL Ruffle........when I cam back across the lone bridge of shame the US guys just laughed their asses off at it.........It was crazy.......

Have not been back since..........

Sadly you're right. I've actually read when legislators are floating those ideas to institute some type of mandatory speed governor's by like 2025 or 203

Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba are pretty conservative. The coastal provinces ruin it for them too. Sound familiar?

and dont forget the breathalizer devices they are thinking of adding to new cars too........used car prices will go crazy then.....I wonder if I will need a breathalizer on my new mowers so I dont drive drunk and not make straight lines per new codes that are coming down the pipeline for lawns......crazy
Big Brother always trying to keep us safe from ourselves!! Yeah Right...I drank from a hose as a kid..I dont need no nanny!!!!!

I wouldn't worry too much about having a breathalizer on your lawnmower. Gasoline powered yard machines will be banned in the next couole years. Commiefornia and a few other states already have legislation. I'm not certain if it passed here in NY, but I remember hearing about it getting introduced.

Tisto ok right....but I wont stand for a breathalizer on my heard of goats either to keep the lawn down. or my battery mower.........the insanity has to end somewhere...but we just know what the line is yet?!
