The Baja is perfect for me for the reasons you listed. I got so much shit for buying a forester in the past from my idiot friends that have full size pickups and.... never use the bed or even touch gravel or dirt with them. They don’t tow anything either. F what others think is right.
Can't argue with that. Subies are great winter cars. We had an older one that we put a bit over 100k on before it wouldn't keep timing belts on it. My neighbor's mother had one of the old Bajas with the seats in the bed when I was a kid, we rode in the back all the time. Not very family friendly though.
I need a big truck though so have to deal with mileage issues, but my diesel really isn't bad considering what it is and what I haul. I get in some sticky situations too, and if I had anything less, I'd need AAA on speed dial. They'd probably end up cutting me off some years lol.
Ok, I see them on a lot of trucks at night around here. There are LED upgrade headlights I can get but the good ones are over $300! The Chinese ones have too many mixed reviews.
