Disturbing to say the least. My father in law was a Seaman during that time and while talking about his time at sea he would sometimes elude to this incident but he would Never elaborate.that was disturbing, to say the least

You really should hear the whole story .
I listened to the first couple of minutes. It's about the USS Liberty which was shot up and almost sunk by Israeli jets back in the 1960's. This is not a new story. I don't follow Candace but she has been making waves for what some are calling anti semitic remarks. Resurrecting an old story like this where the Jews are the bad guys isn't going to help that reputation.
For the record it seems very plausible to me the Israelis knew what they were doing. This was covered decades ago in James bamford's book the puzzle palace about the NSA.

It’s true that this is not a new story. However , I think that there’s merit in hearing the details from a survivor, verses a report / story from our and the Israeli gov’t who originally covered this up for years and even threatened the survivors . It’s high time to shed some New light on this and Candace is doing just that.
I don’t think at this point Candace is too awful worried about a Reputation.

A truly disturbing book, and the facts and conclusions are probably even worse than we know, considering the book was published over 40 years ago.
I have heard and read of this atrocity many times over the years, but never found the real reasons why we were attacked and it was covered up some Fifty years ago...I did not watch the entire video in case the answer was to be found there.
Knowing that LBJ and Mc McNamara were behind the cover up, and considering their history and quite possible involvement with the JFK assassination, the false Flags to get us asshole deep in Viet-Nam, and assortments of other shit-shows going on in America (Democrat controlled I might add) it's a wonder Civil War didn't break out, and had the "Hippies" not been Peace based we might have.
I hold nothing against the Jews as a Religion or People despite the abject hatred of many against them...there's a lot of anti-Semitic propaganda out there that's as much accurate as bullshit; not my Pig, not my Farm.
Again, this was fifty years ago and the Country and World was a different place...consider this: the Japs kicked the living shit out of us in Pearl Harbor, and today we're best buds.

Candice is welcome to her opinions, beliefs, and projections as typically she's conservative, fair, and correct, but no one is 100% of the time.
If I recall from the book the Israelis were pummelling the Arab armies in the war. The extent of the victory was not known and we were using the liberty to intercept signals from all belligerents. The theory (once again from memory) is we did not want the Israelis to crush and embarrass their opponents because that might result in bad oil export behavior to the US (an embargo). So we were trying to figure out the facts and would probably put pressure on the Israeli army to stop. The Israelis knew what the liberty was and wanted to keep their success hidden so they could continue the offensive operations. So they attacked the ship and later claimed they mistook it for an Egyptian ship.
If that story is true that is some very cold blooded behavior by a supposed ally. Just another example the Israelis play for keeps.
