On one hand, it's good that they fear the people. That's desired. They should always be worried they're doing a bad job that may upset the people, and that should inspire them to do a good job. That's really the point of 2A and 1A, is that it makes it really easy for the people to say "no thanks" at any moment.

On the flip side, they're doing a terrible job as of late... they should start doing shit in our interest before the people get wise to this bullshit. Because one day, one day it will click for the people. They'll realize the enemy isn't each other, and turn their gaze to those who pointed fingers in the first place: the lawmakers.

Not sure what they hope to accomplish with that fence against a hypothetical angry mob. Yeah they have big concrete barriers on the legs but the posts of those temp. fences act as levers. A lot of people pulling (not pushing) will either move the concrete blocks or bend the posts, whatever gives first.

Everything I am hearing and reading, commentators are advising people not to go, its a set up, and the crowd will be infused with government operatives.
