GPS will be the way. Good commies and all that.
Yeah. Had a bottom of the driveway discussion with a career IRS neighbor (actually a nice outward guy, conservative IT type) who was hearing that a gps, and / or tag or plate reading devices could likely be used may to track milage. Big brother already has disturbing insights on most of our travel history from bridge crossings, tolls, credit card use, plate readers, phone use, etc. Even putting this vile evil manipulative tax aside, we can all see the potential for more privacy abuse from the retention of vehicle travel history.GPS will be the way. Good commies and all that.
Just reverse the mileage..the Ferris Bueller way!!! prop up ass end and put in reverse!!!!!! hahahahaJust drive home backwards.
All I see is government types saying "we need to fund road repair".
I don’t know they just redid the stretch of thruway by me and it’s beautiful. Funny thing is it was beautiful before they ground it down and replaced the whole thing. My family has no clue why they redid it.Which is the excuse they give every time they hike fees and taxes related to driving.
Yet, where are the road repairs?
Slapping a coat of tar and some loose stone is NOT road repair. That is actually reckless endangerment.
The Thruway, rather than being "paid off" and open to use without fees has actually seen those fees extended and increased. And for what? The stretch from exit 46 east toward exit 44 is like driving on a washboard, and beyond that you end up dodging "patches" that are more like landmines.
It's truly pathetic.
Covid $$, and you must have a very loyal congressman.I don’t know they just redid the stretch of thruway by me and it’s beautiful. Funny thing is it was beautiful before they ground it down and replaced the whole thing. My family has no clue why they redid it.
That’s exactly what I said. We have Covid money that needs to be spent and yes it’s Brian Higgins.Covid $$, and you must have a very loyal congressman.

Sounds about right. A road but me was paved. Ground done and replaced and not 4 weeks later here comes erie county water authority cutting holes in it to replace lines. I stuck my head out the window and asked hey why didn’t you do this a month ago before it was paved? He replied we don’t communicate with eachother. I said oh that’s great and makes tons of sense.Because it was due. At least according to some dumbass in charge. I've called the state before to ask why they were paving a section of road and that was the answer given. They don't inspect it to see whether it needs it, they just waste money doing it.
