No gun zones are BS....If the judge is in a county that objected to the crap act...the judge should throw it out of court. He can lose all his guns and his permit to boot....for being an honest law abiding citizen. I don't concur with the arresting officer's action.

They don't need a warrant if you give them permission or its in plain sight.
So don't keep your registration and insurance card in the same place you hide your gun.

From a family friend in Canandaigua, the word is a Moms Demand Action parent reported to the police that they saw a man they did not recognize (sitting in a parked truck with a pro gun bumper sticker) in the school parking lot. Postings and news reports I found did not yet expand how they knew the licensed gun owner, still inside the truck, would have permitted guns in his locked truck, parked in the school parking lot while he was reporting to work at the school. Our friend believed the panic was fueled by news reports of the FL right wing nutcase with a van plastered in stickers, and that the contractor provided the police his permit when asked for his drivers license, also the contractor confirmed he had a gun in the truck when asked.

Why I don't have stickers for anything on my car any more. More to come ... when you see mom a moms demand action sticker call the police and report a odd looking women you've never seen before with a hate group sticker on her car. You would not be lying and are just calling in what concerns you anonymously of course.

and this is why I have a Gun safe tack welded and through bolted to the floor of my van. I keep money and guns in the safe, but everything else is in the glove box and I DO NOT have any "pro-gun" stickers on my truck.
This guy just ruined his own life by being honest. He's about to go broke from legal fees BUT, I bet he can avoid jail time by surrendering his permit and ALL HIS FIREARMS. Afterall even the superintendent reiterated that at no time was anyone threatened and no one was ever in danger.

Just for fun plaster gun stickers all over your car, don't have any guns of course ... and when asked by police if you have any guns tell them your not legally required to answer the question.
