Case Trimmers

I'm in the middle of trimming a few hundred 30-06 cases using the Lee trimmer chucked up in a drill. There has to be a better way!

What is everyone using to trim rifle brass? I like that the Lee set-up is cheap ( ) and consistant, but its a bit of a chore for large batches.

You can also set up a drill press with a jig from Forster.

I could get a World's Finest Trimmer for ever rifle caliber I load for and still not hit the price of the Giraud.

If you have a drill press. Three way cutter and above jig from Forster can speed things up and not a big investment.

To change calibers you will only need to change pilots and collets. They are inexpensive and the same one used in Forster manual trimmer.

Lee is a trimmer only, it doesn't do deburring and chamfering. 3 in 1 is the way to go, whichever trimming set up you choose.

I don't mind the Lee so much - except for tightening the brass in that little shell holder / chuck.

I bought the Dillon power trimmer... but had to sell it before using it lol... my BIL has it and processes a shit ton of brass lol...

The Little Crow trimmers work excellent in my bench top drill press. Very fast and easy. Cost about 75 bucks per caliber. I used the Lee cutter before moving to the Little Crow.

If I was considering a trimmer and I didnt have 3 or 4 Little Crows I would consider this,,,,based on reviews and the amount of calibers it can do.........

I also bought one from the first batch. This was around 2003. I prep a lot of .223 Good reloading tools pay for themselves in a couple of years and last a lifetime.
