CCW permit question

Hello, as a followup to obtaining my CCW I went to NCPD and picked up the instruction sheet but wondered if there is a list of HHS certified labs for the 12 panel urine test. I cant find it but I see that Labcorp or other labs in the area that do a 12 panel urine test but not sure if they are HHS certified?

Just completed my submission of carry concealed upgrade yesterday. Found a lab for the Nassau County test and $119 later got my results. They say they send directly to NCPD but had to bring them along with my notarized statement and certificate of the gun safety course to police plaza in Mineola. No extra fees or items at this point. Cop told me its a 'few' months as they are working on April submissions at this time. We will see.
Just a reminder that once you go in to NCPD and present the letter for upgrade you have 15 days to get tested. I dont know what happens if you go beyond that timeframe. I imagine you would have to resubmit but don't know how they would look at it.

Just a quick followup to my submission for upgrade to CCW- just received a call from NCPD that permit was ready. So it took from August 2023 to January 2024 to finish - about 5 months.. Also since my permit was expiring in March they reissued a new one,had to pay $210 and new license is only good for 3 years now! Not 5 and I lost two months besides, sheesh...

well, um yes it was required here in Nassau and yes this county is basically a Repub county so go figure. So you say I shouldn't have done it? Not really an answer if I wanted the CCW, which I now have. Is it fukked up? Is the sky blue in your world?

Just curious, do you have a CCW? If so, the hoops you had to jump thru to get it are just as unconstitutional so why do you "deserve the RIGHT to do anything"?
