Tried a few different items to sharpen chain saw blade .. i gave up .. lol time to sharpen and then it cuts all gooofie .. i just go buy a new chain ..

I use this and I touch up the chain after every other tank of gas. A sharp chain is so much more efficient and also easier on the saw and safer!livingston

Yea once it's time to file the rakers I'll just take it in to my repair guy. It's dangerous to use a poorly sharpened chain. I'm sure it's easy to actually learn how to do it well, but I have 100 other things to take care of and it's not worth my time to learn how to do it properly

I have a local place that does my chains for $2.50 a chain. I'm also running a 24" bar or my bigger 32" so that is a LOT of teeth.
Also if they aren't sharpened right they will wear the bar down quicker and a Stihl RolloMatic ES bar in 32" is NOT cheap!
