The suspect is a Groyper. There has been some speculation if this was related to the feud between Nick Fuentes and Charlie Kirk, and photographs of the shooter were just released that confirmed it.

A “Groyper” is a follower of Nick Fuentes. He recently called for a “Groyper War 2” against Charlie Kirk and TPUSA because of Charlie’s support for Israel. The shooter wrote “Bella Ciao” on one of the shell casings, which recently has been a Groyper song. He also dressed as a Pepe in a track suit, which is a symbol of the Groypers.
Is there like a source of this or anything?

Here are a few of the puzzle pieces. Combined with Nick Fuentes frantically attempting to distance himself from this, and asking his followers to stand down, it paints a convincing picture.
This kid was raised in a Christian home, by all accounts by loving, upstanding parents, and then suddenly he’s reported to be on the internet constantly. Casings engraved with memes ripped straight from 4chan. Plenty of people are putting two and two together, but I expect it will take some time before the mainstream media catches up.

There are videos of him walking stiff legged onto campus with the rifle down his pants leg.
Also video of him jumping off roof, and running towards the woods where the rifle was found. Officials say there is more video from the surrounding area that has not been released. Its another "wait and see" thing.

2 of the slogans in the rifle were specifically antifa slogans. "Hey fascist, catch" is not something anyone on the right is likely to write.
We are not in the habit of accusing everyone who disagrees with us of being a member of an archaic Italian political party. That's the bread and butter of the left though.

And we read about kids raised in good conservative homes that go off to college and turn into raving left wing lunatics in a semester so often that it's almost a cliché.
So posting something about how this guy was 5 years ago is irrelevant. He wasn't a murderer 5 years ago either, people change.
I think it's safe to assume this kid was pretty far left. Maybe not 2 years ago, but he was 2 days ago for sure.
Now, I completely understand why the left are grasping at straws to try and say he wasn't, but you've got to be a pretty dim bulb to buy any of it.

I don’t buy the Fuentes involvement allegation. A few things… I am further to the right of almost everyone I know in person, and likely most of you folks here as well. Even given significant religious, moral or cultural differences we don’t harm our own. You guys here who have serious-looking disagreements on the forum, would you travel hours away to put a bullet in the other guy? No, you wouldn’t and that’s utterly ridiculous. This is yet another attempt by the left to say “it wasn’t me” while simultaneously tap dancing on Charlie’s coffin and plotting who’s next.
In my somewhat relevant experience, with friends who have seen their kids go off to college and return unrecognizable and having a son in college right now, his brainwashing progression looks familiar. A close friend has utterly lost his adopted daughter to the progressive brainworm, and others have seen this same pattern of “decent kid goes to college and comes back spouting murderous nonsense”.
I place blame squarely on the people in our education institutions.
In my somewhat relevant experience, with friends who have seen their kids go off to college and return unrecognizable and having a son in college right now, his brainwashing progression looks familiar. A close friend has utterly lost his adopted daughter to the progressive brainworm, and others have seen this same pattern of “decent kid goes to college and comes back spouting murderous nonsense”.
I place blame squarely on the people in our education institutions.
