Might be hard to get a good belt tight enough for a small diameter limb.
Might be better off cutting a strip out of a shirt or pair of pants.

Belts do not work. Try it. I took the stop the bleed training and they had us try it. Belts were actually the hardest to tighten especially leather belts. A shirt is better. There a reason these were invented and the plastic twist bar is there. I wouldn’t trust these as they said many imitations out there and they break the minute you tighten them. My company took this so seriously they have every employee one. I appreciate that.

Saw an article once that claimed the modern survival rate was much better than the middle ages.
They weren't talking about a specific cause.
My immediate reaction was "Unless I missed some *really* big news, the survival rate from the middle ages was 0%"
